Overview

Bronze plate is a copper-based alloy material, primarily classified into tin bronze and aluminum bronze based on compositional differences. Each type has distinct advantages in mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, etc., and is widely used in industrial fields. Bronze alloys often include additives such as tin, aluminum, manganese, nickel, or zinc, and sometimes non-metals or metalloids like arsenic, phosphorus, or silicon. These additions create alloys that may be harder than pure copper or possess other beneficial properties like stiffness, ductility, or machinability. Tin bronze is harder than copper due to alloying with tin or other metals. Aluminum bronze offers a 30%-50% longer wear life than common copper alloys, making it suitable for heavy-duty bearings and propeller bushings. Bronze is also more fusible (easier to melt), facilitating casting.
